Create notices to increase order value

What is order value?

As the name indicates, it’s the amount (price) of the ordered products or services in the cart. Increasing this amount helps you to improve your website’s AOV or Average Order Value.

Create notices to increase order value

Based on the prices of your products or services you can prepare different plans for different order values and display them via an notice in cart or checkout page for example to motivate customers to reach your desired order value.

As a simple example, consider you can afford free shipping if a cart’s subtotal amount is $1000 and more, so you can notify customers whose cart is between $500 and $999 on the checkout page to place more products to enjoy free shipping if their order value is $1000 or more.

In order to do that from the WordPress dashboard go to SellKit > Notices and follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Add New button.

✍️ Note

Remaining subtotal amount in the dynamic keyword subtracts user’s cart amount from Target subtotal amount and displays the result.

  1. Select a priority for your notice. Priority of 1 is the notice that is shown first and priority of 20 is shown the last.
  2. Choose checkout to display the notice in the checkout page.
