How to Delete Plugin Data in SellKit
When managing your website, you might decide to delete a plugin and its associated data. For SellKit users, it’s important to note that deleting the plugin can also remove all of its data from your website, including options, database entries, and tables. This guide will walk you through the steps to delete SellKit plugin data upon plugin deletion.
Before You Begin
Be aware that this action is irreversible. Once you delete the plugin data, you cannot recover it unless you have a backup. It’s recommended to back up your website before proceeding.
Steps to Delete SellKit Plugin Data
- Navigate to the SellKit Settings: Log in to your WordPress dashboard. On the left sidebar, click on SellKit.
- From the expanded SellKit menu, select Settings.
- Access the Data Deletion Option: Scroll down to the bottom of the SellKit settings page until you see the Delete plugin data on plugin deletion option.
- Enable Data Deletion Click on the toggle switch next to Delete plugin data on plugin deletion to enable it.
Confirming Data Deletion
- A confirmation popup will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete plugin data. To proceed, type DELETE in the input box.
- Click on the Confirm button to finalize the deletion.
After Deletion
Once the plugin is deleted, all SellKit data associated with your website will be permanently removed. If you wish to use SellKit again in the future, you’ll need to reinstall the plugin and configure your settings from scratch.
