How to Set Up a Custom Global Checkout Page

Global Checkout in SellKit is a unique feature that streamlines the checkout process for your entire WooCommerce site. Unlike other sales funnels which can be multiple and product-specific, Global Checkout is a singular, site-wide process that replaces the default WooCommerce checkout flow. Here's how you can set up Global Checkout for your online store.

Step 1: Access Global Checkout

To begin setting up your Global Checkout, navigate to the SellKit panel in your WordPress dashboard. You can find this on the left-hand side of the screen.

  1. Click on SellKit.
  2. Select Global Checkout from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Create Your First Global Checkout

Upon entering the Global Checkout section, you'll be prompted to create your first Global Checkout.

  1. Click on the Add Global Checkout button.
  2. Choose whether to select a pre-made funnel template or start from scratch.

If you choose to start from scratch, you will see your global checkout flow is laid out in a flowchart format.

Step 3: Configuring Global Checkout Steps

In the Global Checkout editor:

  1. Click on the node named "Add a Checkout Page".
  2. Choose whether to select a pre-made checkout template or start one from scratch.
  3. A new checkout step is created now. Click on it to open its details.

Step 4: Designing Checkout Page

In the Design tab, you can design or customize the checkout page. You'll have options to edit with Elementor, edit with Block Editor.

No product selector tab! Unlike other sales funnel, you can not choose specific product(s) for checkout step in global checkout flow. This is because global checkout flow applies to all products in your store.

Step 5: Applying Coupons

SellKit allows you to apply coupons automatically to enhance the customer experience.

  1. In the Optimization tab, toggle the Auto-Apply Coupons switch.
  2. Select the coupons you wish to apply automatically to every purchase made through the Global Checkout.

Step 6: Adding an Order Bump

If you wish to include an order bump, navigate to the Bump tab. An order bump is an additional offer presented to customers during the checkout process, which can increase the average order value.

Use caution when adding global checkout offers and order bumps, as they may display for all products in your store (except those with their own sales funnels). Carefully consider if the offer or bump is relevant across your entire store before enabling it globally to avoid irrelevant upsells.

Step 7: Adding other Steps

Just like other flows, you can add steps such as Upsell, Downsell, Condition, Opt-in, etc. to global checkout flow. Just keep in mind that this flow will replace your default WooCommerce flow.

Note:

Unlike other flows in SellKit, You cannot prioritize or rearrange checkout step in global checkout flow, as it is fixed to ensure a consistent checkout experience across your site.

Step 8: Finalizing the Setup

After customizing your Global Checkout:

  1. Click the Save Changes button to apply your settings.
  2. Your Global Checkout is now active and will replace the default WooCommerce checkout flow.
