Managing Dynamic Discounts
Dynamic Discounts are a powerful feature in SellKit that enable you to offer special deals based on specific conditions, like the total value of a customer's order. This step-by-step guide will show you how to manage these discounts effectively.
Accessing Dynamic Discounts
To access the Dynamic Discounts section in SellKit:
- Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
- On the left sidebar, click on the SellKit menu.
- Under SellKit's menu, select the Discounts item.
You will see a list of all the dynamic discounts you've created, along with details such as the discount name, author, and creation date.
Adding a New Dynamic Discount
To create a new discount:
- In the Dynamic Discounts section, click on the Add New button at the top.
- You will be directed to a page where you can define the conditions and the discount amount.
Editing an Existing Dynamic Discount
If you want to edit an existing discount:
- Locate the discount you wish to edit from the list.
- In the Actions column, click on the three dots icon to expand the menu.
- Select Edit from the dropdown options.
- Make the desired changes in the discount settings page that opens.
Duplicating a Discount
To duplicate a discount:
- Find the discount you want to duplicate.
- Click on the three dots icon in the Actions column.
- Choose Duplicate. This will create a copy of the discount with the same conditions that you can then modify as needed.
Deactivating a Discount
To deactivate a discount without deleting it:
- Click on the three dots icon next to the discount you wish to deactivate.
- Click on Deactivate. The discount will remain in the system but will not be applied to any orders until reactivated.
Removing a Discount
To permanently remove a discount:
- Click on the three dots icon beside the discount you want to remove.
- Select Remove.
- Confirm the deletion.
Please note that removing a discount is irreversible. Make sure you no longer need the discount before you delete it.
